Terms of Service

Last updated: June 1, 2025

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and AB Canada Inc. Please read them carefully before using our electronics buyback service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the services of AB Canada Inc. ("AB Canada"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Service Description

AB Canada offers a buyback service for used electronic devices (smartphones, laptops, tablets, gaming consoles, smartwatches) to Canadian residents. We provide online estimates, collect devices, and process payment after inspection.

3. Eligibility

The service is available to Canadian residents aged 18 or older. By using our service, you represent that you are the legal owner of the submitted device and that it is not stolen, lost, or subject to any legal restriction.

4. Quote and Offer Process

Online quotes are estimates based on the information you provide. The final offer is determined after physical inspection of the device. If the actual condition differs from your self-assessment, we will present a revised offer. You may accept the revised offer or have your device returned at no charge.

5. Shipping and Receipt

AB Canada provides a prepaid shipping label. You are responsible for adequately packaging the device. Once received, the device becomes AB Canada's property only upon acceptance of the final offer. Until you accept the final offer, AB Canada holds the device in safekeeping.

6. Payment

Payment is processed within 24 hours of final offer acceptance, via Interac e-Transfer, direct bank transfer (EFT), or PayPal. We reserve the right to modify available payment methods with reasonable notice.

7. Refused Devices

We reserve the right to refuse any device that proves to be stolen (verified via blacklist databases), that has damage exceeding our acceptance threshold, or that is subject to an ownership dispute. In such cases, we return the device at our expense.

8. Limitation of Liability

AB Canada's liability is limited to the value of the accepted offer. We are not liable for any personal data remaining on the device (though we perform certified erasure), nor for indirect or consequential losses.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and applicable Canadian federal laws. Any disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of Ontario courts.

10. Changes

AB Canada reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email. Continued use of the service constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms.
